Title: Tomie Post by: Trumpey on April 05, 2002, 10:34:16 PM one of the worst movies I've seen in a while. This is one of those Japanese things that is probably based on a comic book. The Japanese do Gore and Exploitation very well (don't miss LA Blue Girl v. 1) but they forget to put any in this. This leaves it to stand on it's own acting, filmaking, and storytelling. This was a terrible terrible decision as these elements are totally non-existent. To think I could've been watching Fight Club "The first rule is I'm not allowed to talk about it...the second rule..."

I've read two of the Tomie mangas and it's disappointing to see they couldn't translate it to a movie. The stories are highly disturbing.
