Title: When the Government Fails Big... Post by: InformationGeek on March 18, 2010, 07:21:01 PM ... in the movies. I have seen the government in the movies fail tons of times due to being idiots (See Mars Attacks), because of someone's ego (See Evolution), or because of something else. So, can name any movies where the government (Could be any kind of government) really fails big time. I put up Evolution and Mars Attacks up, but I would like to acknowledge the remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still.
