Title: BATWOMAN (1968) (aka LA MUJER MURCIELAGO) - This is what B-movies are all about!

I bought this top-notch B-movie on DVD-R from Video Search of Miami . . . pure entertainment!

It has the following important B-movie elements:

* Batwoman, the hero, is a female wrestler.
* In the ring, she wears a full Batman-style costume.  However, when she's fighting crime she wears the cowl and cape, a bikini, long gloves, and boots.
* The villain (Dr. Williams) is a mad scientist who has an assistant named Igor!
* The villain's laboratory is on a yacht named Reptilicus.
* There is a beach party scene.
* There is some cool 1960s jazz on the soundtrack.
* The villain kills wrestlers, takes fluid from their pineal glands, and uses it to create a fish-man!
* The fish-man look like a cross between the Creature from the Black Lagoon and the monster in The Horror of Party Beach.  But it has a red exterior, like a boiled lobster!
* The fish-man's name is Pisces.
* Dr. Williams uses the cliche, very long, "villain's laugh": HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
* The evil plan is to use Batwoman's pineal gland to make a fish-woman, and then create an army of fish-monsters!
* This is a Mexican movie, directed by Rene Cardona, with English subtitles.

What could be more fun?????

And you can watch the whole movie on YouTube if you want (but without the subtitles)!  Here are some scenes and POSSIBLE SPOILERS!

Oh, second this - You should also note that much of the dialogue is incomprehensible gibberish & the story leaps about so much it's sometimes difficult to follow what's going on - Saw this one as a double-feature with "Pumaman!", which is equally ridiculous.  Yep, this one's a keeper -
