Title: The Stone Killer
Post by: Trevor on May 26, 2010, 05:06:27 AM
Rough tough Charles Bronson vehicle concerning a shoot-plenty-times-ask-no-questions cop who stumbles on a plot to recruit Vietnam veterans for a hit on some nasties. Great film ~ with some very weird camera angles and shots, courtesy of the person who gave us The Silent Flute ~ and one that has finally been released on DVD R2. I'm looking forward to buying this: my VHS is wearing out.

I forgot about the great score by Roy Budd, the over-over-over actng of some of the actors and the quirky dialogue, especially CB's dry sense of humor. So dry, it's like a desert.  :tongueout:

I like this one too.  Saw it at the drive-in back in the 70s and had it on VHS for many years.  I either sold it on eBay or gave it to my parents when I switched from VHS to DVDs.
