Title: Wisdom teeth out ... Post by: akiratubo on May 29, 2010, 01:04:51 PM I got my wisdom teeth out Wednesday. All was looking good until I blew my nose this morning (the first time since I got my teeth out, so it was pretty full) and a blast of air came into my mouth. Yep, it seems I have a hole from my sinus cavity to my mouth. I'm told this is very common and should heal but I'm going back to see the dental surgeon on Tuesday (damn long weekend).

The surgery wasn't too bad, but the pain medication ended up making me sick to my stomach.

Couldn't eat anything except pudding and mashed potatoes. And anything liquid EXCEPT water felt terrible. And I got to be LEGALLY high for a week. :teddyr:

When he actually pulled the teeth out there was a loud cracking sound and I broke out giggling and couldn't stop. The dentist found that highly amusing. Completely, 100% knocked out. I remember showing up at 7AM, falling right asleep, and waking up around 10:30 and being completely disoriented and high. Fell asleep, missed a job interview (not that I could talk, but still. Did get the job though.)
