 Two different movies ,dont know much about either of them. Any help is apprecited. I only saw a small portion of each movie on TV.

1. A Vicent Price movie I saw part of probably 30 years ago. I think it was black and white, all I really remember was Vincent Price and some other guy at the end of the movie playing chess, I think to determin the fate of humanity.

2. A much more recent movie with a grim reaper looking  monster / villian terrorizing people in a factory and he gets blown up at the end. I think it was on the scifi channel.

The first one is "The Seventh Seal" with Max von Sydow, I think.

If No. 1 might be without Vincent Price (he's not in Seventh Seal, is he?), it could also be The Black Cat, where Lugosi and Karloff play chess, but not for the fate of humanity, but a woman. The only piece with Vincent Price I can think of is (aptly named) "The Game of Chess" which aired on TV in some obscure serial. However, I can`t really remember if it is actually Vincent playing...

The second one might possibly be Skeleton Man

I checked out the replies and the second movie was Skeleton Man. The replies far te vincent price movie are wrong. I rmember the chess game taking place at the end andit was in a place with alot of creepy fog and I tink there were old scary trees like an od cemetary or something. Its in the last moments of the movie and you dont get to see who wins the game I think it was a good and evil struggle kind of thing like it supposed to be Godand the Devil playing the chess game. Thats all I can remember, I only saw the last 5 min or so of the movie.

The first one is THE STORY OF MANKIND.
