Title: Giant worm eats a guy then disappears
Post by: Beckett0 on June 04, 2010, 05:15:41 AM
Hi guys, I remember this film from the '80s where some guy was fighting a giant worm and then got half his body sucked into it's mouth.  Meanwhile somewhere else there was someone in a lab waking someone up I think(I'm a bit fuzzy on this part) and everything was this sleeping guys delusions I think.  When the sleeper woke up, the worm disappeared releasing the guy and showing that he had been partially digested...and then he was back to normal because it was all in his head or something.  Am I crazy and just dreamed up this ridiculous movie or is there actually something out there that this resembles?
Thanks in advance for humoring me.

From Beyond

I agree with akiratubo, this is From Beyond.  Very strange and wonderful movie.  The worm was pretty cool.  Imagine fishing with this?

Thanks guys.  That was the one.  Not only was it the movie I was looking for, I didn't even know it was a movie with Jeffery Combs in it.  He's great in roles like these.
That was one big frikkin worm!  I couldn't find it by just typing "giant worm eats man"  on google, I kept getting sites that had references to Hamlet and Peter Jackson's King Kong.  I love it when the guy in his speedoes is stabbing the worm on the back, that's just classic!
