This one is good but not quite up to par with the original. Sill pretty cool, though. There are very rare exceptions.
The Cowboy Junkies cover of Sweet Jane is halfway decent. I just like the lazy feel and the spare production. The Talking Heads cover of Take Me to the River by Al Green and "Teenie" Hodges is outstanding. Even though I particularly hate it when a band tries to make a punk or metal version of an old song, I actually like the Iron Maiden cover of Jethro Tull's Cross-Eyed Mary better than the original. I love this song. I didn't know it was a cover when I first heard it, but I like it much better than the original by an obscure group called Earth and Fire, although that one's good.
