I wouldn't exactly say it's adult friendly but the writing and animation was much better than the last Tinkerbell movie.

I've watched them with the kids. However the fact Tinkerbell was born into a rigid caste system and forced to work in a swamp making stuff is a bit extreme. I likened it to Brave New World and got some dirty looks from moms.
