I never dream about members of this board--until last night.

I dreamed I was talking on the phone to Bull about Mardi Gras marching bands in NOLA--Bull played the tuba.   :tongueout:
 

In my dream last night I was speaking in a british accent then a real british person happened by so I stopped.

I fed Tina Fey a dozen cupcakes and she loved it. 

Nancy Pelosi was chasing me around the house in "little French maid" lingerie, screaming about the virtues of socialism . . .

Ouch, a repressed fantasy!

My dreams frequently have political overtones  . . . . back in 1992 I had a recurring nightmare that Ross Perot was chasing me around Texas Stadium with a giant toothbrush, screaming about the deficit.

Of course, some of my nightmares are more  normal, like the one where the gnomes steal my nose and I have to chase them all through the Vatican to get it back . . .

I've had one of my recurring dreams last night: I'm in my room and the wall is torn out by a unknown force. There is a bright floating light shining on me and it turns out to be a hovering UFO. I escape into the living room and see all sorts of flying unknown objects in the night sky through our window.
Shortly after our family and townsfolk are marching across a unknown field surrounded by woods, and we are watching spectacular UFO activity in the sky.
I'm in awe while others appear to be afraid. We arrive at a medical camp of some sorts, at the end of the field, and people are being sucked into UFOs one by one. I can't hardly wait for my turn and soon enough I'm also levitating towards the sky.
Very realistic but odd dream I've had since childhood. Somebody needs to analyze this  :teddyr:

Recently I had a dream that I was a friend of Crispin Glover's (yikes!), and I had just gotten off work on one of my older jobs as a night manager at a department store.  Our side venture was delivering drugs disguised as oatmeal.  Our customer of the day was Helena Bonham Carter, from Fight Club.  We sold it to her in a convenience store.

I've been dreaming of a white Christmas, just like the ones I used to know . . .

I've got this recurring dream involving: I go to a friend's house.  His dad owns a van.  Somebody decides to strap a bomb to the van and sets it for this specific time (cause we gotta drive the van to New Orleans before it explodes.)  So we get to New Orleans and it's Mardi Gras.  We gotta find the owner of this pizza shop because he knows the code to unarm the bomb, as this van is very important for some unGodly reason.  But we then lose him in the night, as there's a parade, gypsies, people in costumes, and Giants knocking over buildings.  Eventually we get the bomb disarmed and we jack the guy for a bunch of pizza and drive back to Philly.  Once back in Philly, we park the van, get out and it still blows the fu*k up. 

Dunno what the dream means, but it's one that I've had since 8 years old, and every so often the center of the story changes, although it always involves a van rigged to blow, New Orleans and giants. :buggedout: :question:

I'm all alone. I'm rolling a big doughnut and this snake wearing a vest appears.

My other dream is to find my bike.  :wink:

You should have that happen to you in real life...I did  :buggedout:  But he actually told me that I could have fooled the average Newcastle resident because my accent was "way too Geordie" for him, lol

Anyway, my dreams?  For some odd reason, I dreamed that I being chased around a warehouse by these strange monsters, and Sanda (Brown Gargantua from War Of The Gargantuas) showed up. He was around 10' tall, and not the giant from the movie.

He came to my rescue, or so I thought.

After dispatching of the monsters, he began chasing me around the warehouse, with several close calls. Somehow, I was able to leap up onto crates and out of his way each time, until I suddenly had nowhere to go, and then I woke up as he charged me for the final kill.  Weird, huh?

It's funny how we both must be connected somehow. I dreamed that both of us were at a Taco Bell and eating Quesodeas. :tongueout:

Dreamed my (retired) father was "transferred" to St. Louis.  He showed me the title on his car to prove it was registered in Missouri. 

Scary... I usually order tacos.   :bouncegiggle:

I dreamed that Abraham Lincoln and the Talking Beaver from the Rocerim commercials a couple years back burst into a warehouse where a bunch of penguins and geckoes had me tied to a chair and began  mowing them all down with Uzis.  Then they threw me in the back of a jeep driven by Chuck Norris and whisked me off to the Vatican for some sort of urgent appointment . . . . and then I woke up because I had to pee.


I'm actually hoping to finish that one tonight, Lincoln was cool (chomping on a HUGE cigar the whole time!) and I'm curious what the Pope wanted with me.

Knowing my luck, it'll be Nancy Pelosi again, though.

I dreamed my brother came up with a movie title---"Dr. Italiano Reloaded"---and asked me to come up with a story for it.  Sadly I can't remember anything about the story I invented.  :bluesad:

Last night I had a weird dream that I was walking through the snow naked. I had a really bad cut on my palm and bleeding onto the snow leaving a trail. Someone was following me and I was trying to escape. I sat beneath a tree and then woke up. It was bizarre.

Could be worse, Indy...you could wake up from your dream and find Bill and Hillary Clinton in your bed (on either side of you) smoking their after deed cigarettes, with Nancy Pelosi looking up at you from down below with a face that looks like a glazed donut... :bouncegiggle:

NOW I'LL BE AFRAID TO GO TO SLEEP!


Last night was relatively tranquil, dream-wise.  I was riding through the Ozarks on a mountain bike (I don't own one and haven't ridden any kind of bike since I was a teen, isn't that the neat thing about dreams?).  There was a cave full of clear water pouring out of its mouth and making a nice stream, with a deep pool down below it.  My friend and I stripped down to our skivvies and hopped in . . . and the bottom of the pool was SOLID arrowheads!  Nice ones, too!  I was diving down, grabbing two or three, and putting them on the bank when the volume of water pouring out of the cave began to increase drastically . . .  churning up the clear water so I couldn't see, and causing the pool to rise and cover my dry clothes and bike . . .  then I was being swept downstream with the roar of water louder and louder in my ears, pulling me under and turning me end over end . . . then I woke up!

BOY, did I ever have to pee!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys have some pretty randomized dreams. I only remember my dreams if I'm with a lady in them...

Meanwhile, I dreamed that I was back in high school (doesn't seem to matter how old I  get, I still dream your back in high school).  I was late and trying to find my way to class, I realized I was dressed in my bathrobe, and I was trying to sneak past principal Bill Cosby.

Agreed, you always dream about school even years later.. Sometimes I still get up in the morning thinking I'm late for the bus and them realize it's been almost 30 years since high school.

I was playing a racing video game yesterday, then last night I dreamed that I was playing that game, ran over some guy with my car, and got -1,250 points for it. 

I think the one dream all of us guys have all had at one time or another is the dream we all fear:

When you have to go to the bathroom so bad, and you dream you get up and go, instead of actually going. 

And for guys, that leaves most of us looking like we were dreaming about our fave porn star when we get up and take that long walk to the bathroom. :bouncegiggle:  And it's hard as hell (no pun intended) to try to pee when you're in that predicament.

Cosby as a principal?  Lol!  I can just see that.. "Where's your schnizzum schnazzum buzzubba hall pass?  Dawww...."  :teddyr:

I mentioned this in the Random Thought thread before realizing there was a dream thread, so I'll do a semi-repost.

Two dreams I keep having: In the first dream, I'm in college (or maybe high school) and I've got a REALLY busy schedule and, somehow or another, I keep thinking I've missed/skipped one of my classes several times (that or I keep forgetting what time it is) and that I'm in danger failing it.

I have no idea WHY I'm having this dream, I'm not even IN college anymore, but listening to you guys it seems it's a rather common dream. 

The second is I'm trying to drive a car that's going on a winding road up a steep hill with a huge drop on one side and (for some reason), I'm in the BACK SEAT of the car, trying to turn the steering wheel.  Even though nothing is pressing the pedals, somehow the car is going forward at blinding speed.

Sometimes when I'm ODing on horror films, I dream I'm in a world being taken over by zombies or something. 

The dreams I really hate though is when I'm dreaming I'm dating a girl that I know from my past (often one that I never really even got to be friends with.)  Waking up from those always sucks.

I've had that one, though not for years.  It's about feeling you are not in control of what is happening.   :wink:

The school one is familiar too.  The missed-classes-I-did-not-know-I-was-registered-for (and risking failure) and another about not being able to remember the combination to my locker.  Not fun.

Speaking of school related dreams, I'm told that every teacher has had these two dreams at least once: losing their grade book, and appearing naked in front of the class. 

I'm told in the latter, they're often piling on the homework in an effort to keep the students distracted so they don't notice the teacher's current state of undress. 

Anyone of the teachers on this board want to verify this?   :teddyr:

Dreamed I flew into the Lakeland, FL. airport for a connecting flight, and you could only get from the plane to the terminal by either 1) swimming or 2) grabbing onto a little mechanical fish that ran through a canal and holding on while it dragged you through the water.

I was walking the neighborhood I grew up in and I saw Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee walking in front of me.  I told Pamela she looked great and complimented Tommy on his hair which he had grown out to match his 80s look. 

Last night I had a really frustrating dream . . .
My Mom and Dad are currently out of town and I am keeping an eye on their place and getting their mail.  In a dream, I told four destitute friends that they could stay at Mom and Dad's for ONE week, but only if they kept the place spotless and left it cleaner than they found it.  I checked in the day before Mom and Dad were to get back to find that they were keeping a GOAT in the appartment, there was poop all over the floor, and that one of them had morphed into a gorilla wearing a tutu who was lobbing fruit at their plasma TV while watching "Night Court"!!!

Then I woke up.

That was me in the Gorilla Suit, I really didn't morph into a gorilla  :bouncegiggle: :tongueout:

An odd dream that I had last year:

I was walking aimlessly in this field on a very cloudy day. After a while, I came across what appeared to be desks and a chalkboard placed in a classroom like fashion on a hill. Plus, there were people there, none were familiar to me.

As I sat down in one of the desks, the "teacher" happened to walk in. To my surprise, it was Peter Gilmore (the current high priest of the Church of Satan :buggedout:). He starts writing on the chalkboard whilst rambling mathematical gibberrish. Not understanding what the hell was going on, I raise my hand and ask: "Sir, I don't understand the problem. Can you please repeat it?".

For some odd reason, my question p**sed him off. He started cursing and saying stuff like: "What is this crap?! I'm my own god, your words mean nothing to me!". He then turns back to the board.

I raise my hand again to ask another question. This time I speak in gibberrish. Then, for some reason, Peter answers: "Oh, well when you put it that way, X is the independant variable and Y is the dependant variable".

At this point, I say to myself: "I'm outta here", and walk away.

Then I woke up and told myself to never eat barbequed chicken for supper again.

Hanging out with you lot. I have really missed you an awful lot.

Dude, I totally know what that means!  You sometimes worry that people are taken advantage of your good nature, and also shouldering extra responsibility makes you nervous.

Not sure about the goat, though... :)

I find it weird you just happen to know how the current high priest of the Church of Satan is... when does that come up on trivia night?

I've been having a really awful recurring nightmare where my teeth are all falling out.  It's super-realistic, I can feel them loosening in my gums and sliding out of their sockets before falling out completely.  Every time I have it, I wake up in a panic and run to brush my teeth more. 

I used to have that dream, too.  I believe it came from grinding my teeth in my sleep.  I now wear a night guard and no longer have the dream.  I'd ask your dentist.

I must have been on the starship Enterprise last night.  Or maybe it was Voyager.  I woke up trying to think of some cool sounding technobabble.  Funny because I haven't watched one of those shows in years.

Last night I dreamt I was at J.C. Penny's shopping for clothes. I have a lot of shopping dreams even though I really don't have strong feelings about shopping.

There was roadwork on the street I was about to cross (to get to a McDonalds---I rarely have product placement in my dreams, but I compromised my principles this one time). 

Anyway, a line of construction vehicles drove past and raised huge black clouds of dust.  I started crossing the street in the dust storm with the rest of the pedestrians, even though cars were continuing to drive along the street and honking their horns and yelling.  I could barely see an inch in front of my face. 

I just had a dream that it was St Patrick’s day and I was in a bar having a hand-fart musical competition with a little girl.

Dreamed that I revisited my old law school and had to use the restroom.  Went in and they were in the middle of the process of converting the women's room into a men's room, so I had to wait around for them to hustle all the ladies out of there. 

Could be.  I figured it came from working in a toothpaste factory surrounded by coworkers with mouthfuls of rotten (and missing) teeth. 

I dreamed that a rather obese vampire was trying to feed on our goats to lose weight, because goat blood has less calories than human blood, he said.  I spent most of the dream trying to talk him into draining my mother-in-law's evil booger dog instead, but when he tried, all her fleas leaped into his eyes and he turned into a rather large butterfly and took off - only to be snatched up by a passing seagull.  Then my nose fell off my face and the dog took off with it, and I was chasing her across the pasture when I woke up.

you mean your nostrils were being attacked by the dog's saliva?!

Ok, here’s one majorly f’d up one I had last night.  I dreamt I was at work and people were ordering food from an out of the way restaurant.  I ordered the roasted severed kid’s head.  Yep, you read that right.  At first in the dream I didn’t think anything of it.  However, when it arrived in a Styrofoam container I immediately began to panic and yell out saying, “Don’t open the container, this isn’t right, stop, etc…”  I mean the dream literally kind of made me sick. 

My youngest went missing again. Its the 5th time in a couple of weeks that I've dreamed I couldn't find him.  :bluesad:  It's very upsetting.

I saw some school related ones.  A common one I have is I'm in grade school or college attending class because I have to pass a few courses.  However, I usually realize at the end of the dream I have a college degree and it really doesn't matter so I leave the school. 

I always have nightmares...

Swarms of 1000's of black bees going into people's mouths then turning into black smoke.
Doomsday types of tidal waves ripping up boardwalks.
Swiming for my life in a murky swamp with crocodiles, snakes and no land near by.
But the one recurring nightmare I always have is zombies, lots of them and trying to survive the attacks.

It's my own fault though. I eat junk food then watch horror movies right before bed. :twirl:

Haven't had one lately, but I used to have recurring dreams where I'd be attacked by bad people (generally they'd be trying out outright murder me, not rob me) while minding my own business, and have to defend myself with the pocket knife I carry.  And it wasn't like I was some super badass in these dreams either. 

I usually got horribly hurt in the process, in one dream losing fingers (common dream thing, and the way it looked in the dream was very similar to the fingers blown off bit in Taxi Driver, right down to the color and texture of the dream) to a bullet shot and in another sustaining multiple stab wounds - though I was eventually victorious.  They weren't nightmares, but they were certainly not pleasant. 

You guys have been having lots of fun Halloween dreams!  Why did I have the stupid St Patricks Day dream!

I used to have lots of zombie chase dreams when I was playing Resident Evil all the time.

Had this one a while ago:

In the dream, one of my friends was driving me somewhere downtown. Suddenly, another vehicle crashes into us, causing me to fly out of the window. When I got back onto my feet, I see my friend freaking out over my mangled dead body screaming: "OH MY GOD! HE'S DEAD! HE'S DEAD! WHAT'RE WE GONNA TELL HIS FAMILY?!".

At that point I realized that I was in actuality a spirit. To kill time before passing on to the afterlife, I started searching through people's trash. When that got boring, I started entering their houses whilst raiding their fridges.

Finally, the time came for me to cross over. First, I ascended to Heaven. I remember flying through the cosmos and seeing every planet and constellation in the universe. When I reached heaven, I was surrounded by this strong golden light. Nothing else was there but the light. I don't remember much else except feeling at peace with the world.

Then came the time to descend into Hell. Gone were the golden light and peace of mind, now I was in a place that looked like a gigantic flea market. The whole place was coloured red and a feeling of dread came upon me. Everywhere I looked, there were people being chased by over-sized spiders. Some spiders resembled bad puppets while others looked like cheap CGI animations.

Before I could see more, I woke up. I then vowed to never eat roast chicken at seven in the afternoon again.

I dreamed that my whole family met Eric Idle while on the way to the beach for a weekend.  I think we picked him up hitchhiking and he rode with us in our SUV.  He became best friends with my teenaged niece but he didn't really like me that much somehow.

I've been accidenlty shot in a field and I know I'm dying. Behind me are lots of people running and they look really scared. I can feel their boots trample me as I lay on the ground bleeding.

I had a dream about YOU Doggett!  Two days ago!  I went to your birthday party in a Chuck E Cheese/McDonalds and you had it all rented out for everyone but you were being mobbed by birthday goers so I couldn't see you and the only person I recognized was Rev Powell so I sat by him at a table and we ate pizza and complained that you didn't come and say hello to us after we travelled so far to see you. 

I have 3 possible explanations:

1.  You are waiting for something wonderfully life changing and spectacular to happen in your life
2.  You are being visited by real aliens
3.  You need to get out of the house more  :teddyr:

I had a dream within a dream. Yes, like "Inception".

I went to sleep in a dream and had a dream in my dream. But I realized I was in a dream in my second dream. Not only that but I realized that I was actually in two dreams and that if I woke up from my dream I would just be in another dream. Or so I thought. I tried to give myself a "kick" like in the movie but instead of waking up into my first dream, I woke up all together.

That's some crazy s**t.

Well, if I had these dreams just recently I would agree. But this dream started when I was about six or seven years old. I wasn't expecting much at that age.
Considering all the weird alien dreams I had, and unexplained stuff happening to my family I'd say there is a possibility ;)

I've been dreaming about natural disasters a lot recently, probably due in part to the Japan quake and tsunami. I dreamt last night that my family had to hit the road, having been displaced by some unspecified natural disaster. It was not a pleasant dream.

I dreamed that I was in a LOGAN'S RUN kind of future where everyone was killed off when they turned 30 - but I had been eluding them for 17 years and was the oldest man on earth.  My legend had grown so big that they called out their number one Age Enforcer to track me down and terminate me.  It was Anne Hathaway in a neon blue spandex number with red shoulderboards and black stiletto heels.  She cornered me in a dark alley and . .  .


I woke up.   Still finding pieces of my alarm clock everywhere.

Dreams of becoming wealthy through some unknown means.  Can I rewind to find the answer as to how it happened?  Also, bizarre dreams about insects attacking and consuming.  Freak me out quite a bit as they are those right before I wake kind of dreams and have that slight tinge of reality to them.  

I may have to borrow your dream.

As for me, I have these split- pov's of something that happened, one pov is me and the other is a same-aged girl. DAMMIT DOGGETT, get outta my dreams! :hatred: :wink:

This is a good dream, Saucerman.  it means that any major problems you have been having are now falling away.  It feels super realistic because you need to acknowledge any lessons you've learned from their appearance in your life and feel grateful for those lessons.

I know I need a major break from almost everything when I dream horribly realistic dreams about my hometown where all the places I visited there ~ especially my high school, the library, my church, the stores and most notably the cinema ~ are in ruins. The cinema is screening recognizable titles but with the most horrifying posters and my church (where I was baptized and confirmed and served as a Sunday School teacher) is dark and there are barely visible things hiding in that darkness.  :buggedout: :buggedout:

If I dream anything like the above, I know that I need a break urgently.

Dreamed I went back to my undergrad college. The school's biggest Beatles fan was graduating that year, but everyone was excited because they had a new freshman coming in to replace him---John Lennon's grandson.

Then suddenly I was on the campus of my law school.  I saw my favorite professor beckoning to me and tried to avoid him.  I was afraid he would be upset at me for not keeping in touch and for not going into tax law.  It turns out he was upset with me, but because I had recommended an Irish restaurant that turned out to be no good. 

Nightmares... Zombies, tidal waves. spooky swamps at night with snakes and gators, stuff like that.

I don't have time for the whole story right now, but a preview of sorts: I woke up jumpy and terrified (no joke!) due to a super-realistic nightmare involving me and Trevor... Also, a murder/killing we covered up... The dream followed many years of our lives with us always watching our back.... Full story at...later today...

Had a dream that I entered a poker tournament---I was undercover, there was some sort of espionage angle to it.  I had a fellow agent, a female who dressed like Pocohontas, they tired to throw her out of the room but she talked her away into staying.  I sit down to play, sort of nod off for a moment and when I come too I'm sitting there with about fifteen cards in front of me, everyone has bet and its my turn.  I look at my cards and there are a bunch of unfamiliar cards mixed in with regular playing cards.  Since everyone else has their cards face up I turn mine up, but they all yell at me for not following the rules.

Had a weird dream/nightmare last night that I wuz robbed. Basically I was sleeping in my dream and I heard a noise and I looked out the window and saw a chip or was it an ice cream truck speed off...and I went to check on things and everything else in the house was robbed except for the stuff in the room where I was sleeping...then I was looking for the phone number for the cops which for some reason I couldn't find when I woke up!..

Last night I dreamt that George Clooney stole my girl and I punched him out. Later in the night I dreamt I was attacked by a swarm of beetles and centipedes.

Nightmares again... as usual...

This time I was running into the night and somebody was shooting hot mini staples in the back of my head, 1000's of them. Then passing out from the pain because I could not find any help.

The other night I had a dream about demons.

I REALLY need to stop eating then watching horror movies before bed. I wake up all freaked out.

Had a nightmare that I'd beat to death this really hideous guy, only for it to be some ten year old kid. I just threw the body in the bin and hoped I'd get away with it. Then, a Panamanian night monkey in a smoking jacket knocked on my door and said that if I didn't have a game of pool with him, that he would go to the police. During our game (which wasn't pool, it was just jabbing forks into billy bear meat), my place came under heavy gunfire. I looked out the window and there were all these Korean army guys with M-16's. I got shot through the glass and then woke up.

trying to find the class, haveing the test I never studied for and whatnot. i have it ALL the time

I had a dream that I was getting really intimate with Lester1/2jr.  We went on a date to a bar/playground that had a giant hamster maze jungle gym with a bunch of drunk people in it.

I've had terrible insomnia lately. Last night when i finally did sleep, i had a sex-dream involving a coffee vending machine and DJ Qualls...
it was wierd, strange, and a little delightful.

I dreamed me, RC, Doggett and Circus were in a weird ass punk band. Circus was dressed like a clown and was screaming nonsensical lyrics as loud as he could about The Omega Man, Doggett was wearing a kilt/dress and leather boots and was playing guitar, I was on drums and was wearing a Starfleet uniform and RC was there in torn jeans and a leather jacket on bass. It was bizarre...

Dreamed last night I was a villain who turned into a werewolf in a Spider-Man movie....then suddenly it switched to me caring for an elderly couple in a bizarre pine wood covered home.

I dreamed of my old work place. The huge stock hall was now filled with thousands of dusty old brown theater seats and it was pitch dark and misty. I heard my evil ex-boss walking behind me but he couldn't see who I was because of the darkness. I rushed towards the exit and spotted most of my ex-colleagues standing and killing time. I was making up excuses for my ex-boss as to why I came back (I wasn't even sure why in the dream), but he took a right turn and disappeared into his office.
I woke up immediately with a weird feeling, but then I realized I wasn't working for that s**thouse company anymore. Felt better afterwards  :smile:

Last night I had a dream I was having sex with two girls. At different times.  :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:  :thumbup:

I haven't been remembering my dreams lately and that's good because it means that my life is stable.  I only remember dreams when there's lots of stuff going on.

Had one last night where I was trapped in a black suitcase with some very large spiders. Was NOT pleasant at all.

I had a very vivid dream about being in combat last night. Very vivid. I was actually a low-level officer in charge of a group of about 20 soldiers. The enemy was pretty non-specific. What was so vivid was the actual firefights. I was carrying what roughly resembled an M4 carbine, going back and forth between semi and full auto, firing about 30 rounds before changing out the magazine, etc. My brain was operating on a very tactical level, while also having to deal with fear and pushing it away in order to keep going.

I virtually NEVER have dreams like that. When I have dreams that have that level of realistic detail, they usually have to do with playing a musical instrument, something I actually know how to do. I've fired assault rifles before, but I've never actually been in combat. What a bizarre dream. It didn't even seem to have any symbolic meaning, really, although I'm sure it was on some level.

Library + Bone Saw + Nakedness = waking up in a sweat.

I dreamed that I was out in the parking lot at our school when I looked up and saw a HUGE tornado bearing down on us.  It ripped off the press box from the top of our bleachers and just tore it to pieces!  I was torn between running into the school to warn kids and diving for the nearest available cover.  I compromised, lifting a small car over my back for protection, then running down the halls with it on my back like a turtle shell screaming "Tornado!!!" at the top of my lungs.  Then our roof started coming off and kids were screaming and I woke up.

And the weather was fine.

I think I had one about Elizabeth Bathory but I'm not sure.

I dreamed I was watching reruns of an old Canadian comedy troupe on TV.  I looked at the straight man and I suddenly realized, "That's a young AndyC!  With hair!"

I keep having these recurring dreams that my father faked his death back in '99, & he's come home to make me his b*!ch or something.

I dreamt that Stephen Fry and I got in a car chase with the devil.
We made a daring getaway.

I know that I need a break from everything when I start dreaming about my hometown and everything is in ruins ~ even the church where I was baptized, confirmed and was a Sunday School teacher (yes, I was) is almost destroyed and horrible things are hiding in the dark.  :buggedout: :buggedout: :buggedout:

I often dream I have an overdue video or book that I have checked out.  I'm trying to find a way to write it off so I won't be charged late fees.

I also have dreams that I find a whole bunch of money.  It makes me happy but then I wake up realizing I don't have the money.   :bluesad:

Last night, I dreamed I was bitten by a snake, in fulfillment of a prophecy.  However, the Gandalf-like character was concerned that the poison was seeping into my torso; my entire arm had gone numb.

Turns out my arm fell asleep because I was lying on it awkwardly.

Later, I dreamed I was in Belgium, getting in line for some fries, but there were lines in all directions and I couldn't figure out which one I should be in.  I got into a debate with a passerby on whether you could pass someone without them having been passed, and I was on the losing end. 

This dream was absurd and very silly, and I can't for the life of me figure out what it meant.

I was standing in the middle of a house that was partially constructed, the foundation and frame complete, but not much more than that. I could feel the wind coming in from the outside. I hear the sound of a flute, like one of those big wooden Chinese flutes being played slowly and hauntingly. I walk outside to a very large backyard that is undeveloped as well, the breeze gently moving the trees and bushes. At the far end of the backyard is a large gorilla playing the flute I was hearing. Yes, a big gorilla playing flute. As I stood watching, the gorilla suddenly realized I was there, looked up, snarled, threw down the flute, and starting charging at me very fast. I was so startled I actually woke up screaming and woke up my wife.

I told her about the dream right away and she laughed.

I had the Lynda Carter Dream again. She's laying in a huge king-size bed covered up in crumpled gold lamay sheets. I'm sitting on the edge of the bed, playing X-Box and only half hearing her pleas for me to come to bed and warm her up. It's almost like I can't be bothered. We have a half-hearted discussion about our relationship and finally I relent, put down the controller and snuggle up next to her.

A few days ago I had a pretty mundane dream. I was on a train, stood in the aisle as all the seats were full. I was reading a book and looked up as a woman asked to get past me, I stood aside and she passed, turning back while she did so to address her husband who she called "Phil".

Now, that was a boring dream and I didn't really think anything of it. But tonight, on the train back from work, it actually happened. As the woman moved past me, I thought to myself, "her husband's name is Phil", and seconds later she repeated the line I'd heard in my dream.

Freaky. If the train had crashed in my dream, I'd have been scared to death!

You feel you have 'built' a good start on your life thus far: the 'foundation' and 'frame' is sound and ready to built upon as planned.  Lots of filling in and details remain ahead.  But you are attracted/lured by a siren song from outside the standard frame of your life as planned; and you suspect that if you step out of the safe-and-structured enviroment that you have constructed and invested in, depart from the plan to go after the siren song, you will find that the thing that attracts you will prove to be something other than what you expect or what it seems, and it will 'reject' you - it is not 'for' you - and it will cease to attract when seen plainly.

My bet would be that 'it' is something fairly minor; not really a threat to your security but rather a momentary distraction that you would like to investigate while it is there.

I dreamed I was in a hippie commune, and got some kind of huge injury that needed sewing up.  Instead they did herbal smudges and started a healing drum circle.

Dreamed I was back at high school---as an adult---wandering around the grounds.  Ran into a pack of feral cats, one jumped up and bit me on the hand.

This is the second time in about a week I've dreamed of being bitten by an animal. 

Odd one I had last night:

I was in front of a house with a group of rednecks in the country on a cloudy day. We were all posing for a group photo. Every once in a while, I heard something sneaking around behind us. Everytime I turned my head, there was nothing.

Finally, after around three times, I turned around and saw this massive cougar watching us. It was snarling and was starting to get ready to strike. Like normal people, we all started running away.

During the chase, I was somewhere in the middle of the group. At first I felt confident until I heard the fat redneck kid say that the cougar was catching up to his preferred prey. I quickly looked back and saw the bastard quickly closing in to me.

At this moment, I knew that I was screwed. All of a sudden, one of the rednecks throws me a rifle. With the gun in my possession, I fired at the cougar. Despite aiming right for him, every bullet missed. In one last act of desperation, I fired one more shot into the cougar's chest. Thankfully, it was enough to bring him down.

Dragging him by the tail, the rednecks brought him behind a house. The sounds of the oversized cat screeching soon followed. After about ten seconds, the rednecks returned with a plate full of roasted cougar meat. It was awesome.

I had a weird dream about some weird thing haunting the house that I was living in.

Probably your subconscious telling you to get that festering wound looked at.

I dreamed I was marrying Stevie Nicks, but it was on stage not in a church and instead of exchanging vows, we exchanged lines of coke.

Had a dream that an ex-girlfriend I never wanted to break up with came back to town and we got back together.  I wasn't too happy when I woke up.   :bluesad:

oh man, and here I thought I was the only one who has these visions. :wink: :smile:

The other night I was in a jeep trying to drive away from a blast zone, a nuclear bomb was going to go off, and right up when everything was ok a red flash with an extreme heat feeling came over me, it felt like I couldnt breath! (woke up)
