Title: Worst timing ever

Bad time to release a movie with that title considering that "Season of The Witch" was the title of a terrible "Halloween" title that had nothing to do with Micheal Myers for some reason. Also two of the "Halloween" movies were remade recently and making a movie with the same title as the bad 3rd film is not the best of ideas.

It's just marketing.

Yes, but Season of the Witch had the most to do with Halloween than any of the others, and didn't get run into the ground. Why do people hate this film so much? It's not bad.

That said, yeah, not a big fan of remakes, but Hollywood doesn't listen to me.

Do you mean Halloween the holiday?

It had NOTHING to do with the first two films.

Also I can't remember the details but I've heard reviews that touch on things other than Micheal Myer's absense.

agree 200% about Halloween 3...

but we are talking about this movie...

I think the producers think Rob Zombie has made 2 Halloween films and since it's getting close to Halloween they are assuming that this movie would be mistaken for Rob Zombie making another Halloween film, since the third one in the series is calle Season of the Witch. So they moved this movie up a few months. (although Im assuming this)

I like HALLOWEEN 3 too, better than any of the others except the original.

Wow, this looks good.  The witch is hot!     Ron Pearlman and Nicolas Cage should be able to hold off the witch.

I will watch this.

Later,

John

At least it's not a re-make of Romero's Season of the Witch.  That movie was really hard to watch, I think it aged me 10 years.

Poor Halloween 3 still gets kicked around? The most misunderstood movie ever  :bluesad:

As for Season of the Witch, it looks good but I was hoping for another The Wicker Man (2006) actually.

I'm a big fan of Halloween 3 as well

This movie...I'd be a lot more interested in it if it was just Ron Perlman without Nick Cage.  I really haven't liked him in anything except Raising Arizona.  Ron would make a great medieval knight though.

As long as they don't take the easy way and throw Donovan's Season of the Witch into the soundtrack. That would be seriously cheesy.
