Bad time to release a movie with that title considering that "Season of The Witch" was the title of a terrible "Halloween" title that had nothing to do with Micheal Myers for some reason. Also two of the "Halloween" movies were remade recently and making a movie with the same title as the bad 3rd film is not the best of ideas. It's just marketing. It had NOTHING to do with the first two films. Also I can't remember the details but I've heard reviews that touch on things other than Micheal Myer's absense. I think the producers think Rob Zombie has made 2 Halloween films and since it's getting close to Halloween they are assuming that this movie would be mistaken for Rob Zombie making another Halloween film, since the third one in the series is calle Season of the Witch. This movie...I'd be a lot more interested in it if it was just Ron Perlman without Nick Cage. I really haven't liked him in anything except Raising Arizona.
