Title: the outer limits dvd set
Post by: Mean Machine on October 23, 2010, 12:10:44 AM
Just got the 3 volume set of the original outer limits at evil mart. Cheapass DVD, menu that seemed to mock the series and no extras, plus one dvd was so cheap I had to exchange it, but getting the whole classic series for 30$ was worth it.

Damn, that show was awesome...

I have always loved the original Outer Limits and will continue to do so.

What a great first episode, The Galaxy Being.  The chat between Cliff Robertson's character and the alien after Robertson converted his thought waves to binary pulses.

Another great one was The Invisible Enemy with Adam West.

The saddest one was The Bellero Shield with Martin Landau. This episode was a true example of human greed and evil. I felt so sorry for that poor alien...

There are more great episodes, but these are a good start.  Easily the best and most sinister sci-fi anthology series that ever existed.

I bought the set a few years ago.  When I got it, the seasons came in separate boxes (platic snap cases) and were good quality.  I haven't watched all the episodes yet, though.
