Grizzled roundhouse-kicker Leo Fong plays P.I. Joe Wong assigned to pull rich daughter Karen from the clutches of a shady sect. On the outside the community preaches harmony but their true intentions are much darker. People with second thoughts in participating (field work) are usually bullied by martial-arts trained guards. Leader of the cult is Yarakunda (Cameron Mitchell). He might be blind which is totally fine by his assistant Karma (Akosua Busia) - she's a feisty and deceitful little byatch. Karma is responsible for the bad vibes (and the funny), and has her own evil way of running things. Like in brainwashing members with a mobile loudspeaker or abs-punching her guards. Yeah, Karma is awesome and reason to check out this Crown International produced b-action flick. Another excellent train wreck performance reeking of moldy goodness. More fun stuff to expect: ~ Poorly choreographed fight scenes. ~ Leo Fong sipping chicken feet soup. ~ Bodybuilding-chick winning "Tough Man" tournament. ~ Two drunks as comic relief. ~ Leo Fong smashing the head of a bad guy into pieces. With his fist. ~ Blind and hooded Cameron Mitchell getting his freak on with Akosua Busia. 4.5/5 cheese |
