Title: SO BAD I HAVE A HEADACHE::
Post by: macabre on November 20, 2010, 10:22:32 AM
HI
For reasons i cannot explain i sat down and watched a movie last night that was so bad i got a headache.
The movie which subjected me to all this pain is titled(in the UK) Natas: Satans reflection.
I have mentioned before i am a massive fan of horror/SF and fantasy movies,i love nothing better than to sit down with my son and watch a good creepy movie, but, this movie is so s**t it would be an insult to class or grade it as any movie, b-movie,z-movie, no way it is far worse than that,
Has any of you guys ever watched this crap? and if so why did you not warn me?
GOT TO GO AND LIE DOWN NOW I FEEL A SHARP PAIN RETURNING IN MY HEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I kind of got that from watching MIDNIGHT (1982).  I had to review it, and as I usually do with films I review I watched it TWICE.  Double the headache.  :bluesad:

I can't say I ever got a headache from a movie, but one time I wanted to throw a brick thru my TV when I watched Demons 2 and that little monster was runnig around going 'EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!" at the top of his voice.

I also remember getting that feeling when playing Borderlands and having the miniature shotgun and axe guys going around doing the same thing, screeching at the top of their voices as well.

I've never gotten a headache from a film.

However, The Village had a strange effect on me. Hold your horses, I know many people did not like M. Knight's film, and some don't like M. Knight at all. I understand the arguments against the man. However, I actually liked The Village, and like all movies I like I don't much care if anyone gives me crap for it.

Anyway, I've seen it twice and each time I've watched it I noticed it gave me a very uneasy feeling, like, and in-my-guts uneasy feeling, and I don't know why. There are many many films that are wierder, more disturbing, etc. than The Village, I know that, but for some reason the movie had a very strange unsettling effect on me that I've never been able to explain, and I wish I could, because no other M. Knight film has done that to me either.
