Died from cancer, age 64. I'll remember him most for his roles in Dragonheart and Jurassic Park 2, though I saw him in an enormous number of films. Title: Re: RIP Pete Postlethwaite Post by: Doggett on January 03, 2011, 08:21:37 PM RIP, fella.
:bluesad: He was a great actor. Title: Re: RIP Pete Postlethwaite Post by: Mofo Rising on January 04, 2011, 02:44:15 AM Ah, that's a shame. I always liked Pete Postlethwaite. He spent a good many years as a character actor in some very good films. Seems he was just hitting his stride as an actor with genuine gravitas.

Title: Re: RIP Pete Postlethwaite Post by: Mr. DS on January 04, 2011, 10:11:03 PM I remember him most for his role in The Usual Suspects. But of course he was one of those "that guy" actors who showed up in many films and always gave a great performance. RIP Mr. Postlewaite

I'll always remember him as David in "Alien 3" and as Brother Gilbert in "Dragonheart". He may not have been a hugely popular actor, but I've always thought that he was awesome. R.I.P. Title: Re: RIP Pete Postlethwaite Post by: ChaosTheory on February 28, 2011, 08:57:41 PM One of my favorite "that guy" actors. :bluesad:

Title: Re: RIP Pete Postlethwaite Post by: Flick James on March 02, 2011, 01:55:30 PM A lesser known but amazing role, In the Name of the Father. He went absolutely toe-to-toe with Daniel Day Lewis on quality of performance.
