Title: Thriller/horror short about guy building GIANT, HUMAN MOUSETRAP!!! Post by: American_Jedi on January 27, 2011, 05:18:45 PM Okay, I think I can be more specific this time around. I believe there was a thriller short (that I think I saw only once) from an old 80's episode of "The New Alfred Hitchcock Presents" that depicts a montage of several close-ups of a man building "something" (sawing wood, grinding metal etc., etc...).
At the end, the man's face comes into view in another close-up and he rests his head on a block to a thunderous BANG!! At which point, the man appears to die eyes wide open looking directly into the camera lens. Finally, the camera zooms all the way out to reveal the cause of his mysterious demise was suicide via A GIANT, SPRUNG, HUMAN-SIZE MOUSETRAP!!! See also "Living Dolls" and "The Dummy", both on YouTube. YES!! THANK YOU ROCKMONSTER THIS WAS IT!!! I just watched it on youtube and the trap seems smaller then I remember but this was definitely it!! However, I thought it kind of creepy at the end when the credits were displayed....the suicide was played by a guy that has the same FULL-NAME (first and last) AS MY DEAD GRAND-FATHER!! TOO WEIRD!!! ANYWAYS, THANKS AGAIN MAN!! I guess this thread can be moved to the "solved" category. |
