So, we take the worst Star Wars movie, give it a cheesy gimmicky Hollywood fad, and re-release it in theatres for a while, and hope that people (http://www.fanboy.com/2011/03/the-worst-star-wars-movie-will-be-released-in-3d-next-year.html) support the idea?  Why George Lucas?  WHY?

Oh, great!  Now I can be disappointed while paying way too much money!  :lookingup: 

I thought Attack Of The Clones was worse.

NOooo! They SHOULD re-release A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi in 3D.

Then Revenge of the Sith. I like that one lol. Toss the other 2.

A whole new set of DVD's and Blu rays will shortly be released - including the special edition with bonus interview, and the collectors edition with plastic toy.

The only way I can enjoy that is if I can punch 3d Jar Jar in the face as hard as I can.  Then smack little Annie.

Oh crap, I hadn't even thought as far as Jar Jar flailing about in 3D. I was still wondering if 3D would make the podrace exciting, instead of.. you know... long and tiresome.

I personally like the pod race, but then again, I'm not like any of you guys.  I actually like the film.

However, I don't see the point in making this or any of the films in 3D.  If you are going the 3D route, I would pefer if the movie was made with 3D in mind.  Otherwise, it doesn't always look good.  Remember The Last Airbender?

But I might still check this out in theaters, I shall Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith in theaters, so I might like seeing this.

Finally, if George Lucas ever wanted to rerelease a movie that he worked on in theaters once again, why not try getting Twice Upon A Time?  That be cool, but then again the rights to that movie...

Why not?  Oh come on, everyone knows that original trilogy is going to come out in 3D, even if they haven't said anything yet.  What Hollywood executive would pass up an opportunity to make even more money on a cash cow franchise like this?

I don't care either way.  I give anyone props who wishes to torture themselves with Jar Jar's idiocy and the whole god awful middle act on Tatoonie.

I hated the Ewoks more than Jar Jar.
