Hey, I'm guilty of it. I've changed my avatar 3 times in the last two years I've been a member, so basically once every six months or so. It just seems that alot of people are changing their avatars a lot lately. I'm getting confused. I'm having panic attacks. Please. WILL EVERYBODY STOP CHANGING THEIR AVATARS BEFORE I HAVE A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN!

Okay, just kidding, it's not that serious. But really, what's with all the rapid-fire avatar changes?

I changed mine from this (http://www.flickr.com/photos/spazzo_1493/5281960404/) because people couldn't tell what it was.  Then I decided to make the duck inverted because I'm cool like that! :tongueout:

But seriously, I have noticed that too.  It is kind of odd.  :/

I seldom change mine.  Something just has to strike my fancy and I'll change it.  It just happens that a lot of people felt the same at once.  Pay no mind to it; they'll likely stay with theirs for a while.

I thought people started changing them because of the recent avatar focused threads like the one you started about equating people to their avatar and that other one about rating avatars.  And I think Menard just thinks he won't get in trouble if he disguises himself as Sister Grace.

Mine isn't changing!

I hate messing with al the size changing, so I'll stay cookied.

Yeah I totally hate people who feel a constant need to change their avatars.

I change my name more than my avatar. I'm not even sure I want the name A.J. Bauer anymore.

I think I've only changed mine 4 or 5 times in all the years I've been here.  However, most of those changes have probably been within the past year or two.

I might not mind depending on the company.

I think we should all change our Avatar's AND our screen names.  That would really freak everyone out.

Oh, I'm sorry I brought it up. Please ignore Burgomaster. I will feel really, REALLY bad if people start doing that.

Actually-I change mine constantly-but it's always Lugosi-so I'm not really changing it too much .

Okay, I confess- I do change my avatar! :DU DU DUN!:  But at least I kept my sig under my avatar the same! :teddyr:

Varla was my 1st pick in 07... I never changed it cause shes smoking...

After last month RIP, I'll keep it as my avatar as long as I'm a B movie member.

I'm actually proud of that picture. It took me a few months of prodding to get her to take it...and boy did it turn out smoking hot. I must say that the stockings were a great touch...and I normally don't care for stockings.

I change my avatar to whatever new favorite show or comic I'm reading.  Sooner or later, it'll be changing to something else.  I already have something new in mind.  In total as of now, I have changed my avatar at least 18 times since I joined.

Hmmmm...maybe I'll do that with Seagal.

When I first joined, I alternated my picture between whoever I had a crush on at the time, Vincent D'Onofrio, Roger Allam, probably Johnny Depp, I dont even remember now.

I had my own photo up for a little while a few weeks ago.  But I wanted a "fantasy me" photo so I went onto the Alchemy Gothic website and found the chickie you see now.  So, same hair, same pale skin, same taste in clothes, just not actually me.

I think I'll keep it for a while   :wink:
