Title: Good Moments in Bad Songs
Post by: Mofo Rising on March 10, 2011, 03:15:15 AM
If there's an earlier topic on this, fold this post back into it.

Third Eye Blind is a band I absolutely detest. The double attack of Third Eye Blind and Creed is the reason I gave up listening to the radio ten years ago.

Anyway, the song "Jumper" is an insipid piece of pop music which is incredibly terrible. The lead singers whining delivery of "I would understand" has got to be some of the worst music produced during that era.

That being said, the I really enjoy the bridge section of that song, which you can listen to starting about 2:26 in this song.

Unfortunately, it's sandwiched in music that makes me want to puncture both of my eardrums.

Good topic, I'll have to brainstorm a bit.

I like the vocals at the beginning of Kyrie by Mister Mister.  The song kind of tanks for me after that.
