It also stars pre-Nightmare Robert Englund, Sid Haig, Ray Walston, and had James Cameron in charge of effects (this was the same year but just before Cameron made Piranha II). The plot's all over the place, at one point Roger Corman even accidentally invents the Nightmare on Elm Street story and has Robert Englund play it out before getting back to the main story.
