Title: The Wonder Woman TV Show Costume Revealed
Post by: InformationGeek on March 20, 2011, 07:04:59 AM
Because I know how much all of us are looking forward to the TV show (sarcasm), I decided to post up the new costume photo.  Looks similiar's to Wonder Woman, but it looks like I could get it at Target.

It looks like a costume shop bought outfit.
Still, not half as bad as I feared.

I miss the stars. And the legs on show. But hey, I'm a legs guy so I would miss those...

The design is ok but the material looks way too cheap.  The boots should be a different color from the pants.

I wouldn't mind watching her run in that I guess.

Still looks better than Halle Berry's Catwoman costume.

I'm sure you'd miss the top half of her too, my friend. C'mon now...only a real boob would ignore the top half of Lynda Carter (or the new Wonder Woman)

Doesn't look like they'd move much.

I agree they should be red, also I miss the little shorts. "sniff"

Quoting: James Hibberd notes on EW.com, "NBC promises the project, if picked up to series, will offer a serious, non-campy take on the DC Comics character."

Really, James, Really? it's not good to lie about this. First, your having trouble to get someone to pick up the series when you have a tried and true character as well as a knock-out (as in sexy, I've never seen her act) actress.  Also this is being put up by NBC? I hear deathknells ringing in the distance already.

The get-up is already campy. Hell, "wonderwoman" is campy. If you wanted a serious non-campy crime fighter she would have short cropped hair, camo, a kevlar vest and an M16. She would look a little more US marine and a lot less striper. Just accept campy and go with it

Be better if its design was like her plane.

I agree.  The costume looks much better here.

Kinda skinny... (side pic) IMO she needs a little more meat on her thighs. :twirl:

Well, she's not Lynda Carter, but she does look good (IMHO.) I looked at her credits, and I don't think I've seen her in anything she's been in, but she may turn out to be a better actress than Lynda Carter, which for me is a plus. Another plus is that Cary Elwes is rumoured to be in the show, and he's been one of my favorite actors ever since I saw him in "Another Country" back in 1984. Thus, whereas I first held out no hope for this show, I'm now beginning to feel a twinge of hope for it.
