I don't want to use it so much that the meaning gets watered down. I'm sure there have been many times in the past when I should have given karma, but didn't think of it at the time.

Most often I give out karma for stuff that makes me laugh. In second place would be anything to demonstrate a strong shared appreciation of something (a movie, a genre, a musical artist, etc.). In third place would be if I just strongly appreicate an opinion posted or considered a post particularly thoughtful.

Sometimes I do, mostly if I agree with a person's sentiments in a post or if they post something I like (a youtube clip, song, album, etc.) I don't think I've ever smited someone, but I do remember being smited once or twice. It's something I should likely use more, but it depends on time I'm around.

If I laugh out loud or completely agree with a post like it was something I would have said I'll send some karma.
