You're right about all the cliches. "This will change lives. We call it ... the Cure." Big budget movie with low budget plot, by the looks of it. I'm not so sure I'm looking forward to it. The first movie freaked me out, particularly the part where they drag out the second astronaut who has been lobotomized. The second movie was just so-so. Heck, they covered Helena Bonham Carter's face with ape makeup! I can't decide whether that was a good or bad thing. I, too, find it hard to understand how a bunch of apes, who seem no more intelligent than average humans in later movies, can take over the world. Yes, they are big and fast and can rip a man's arms off, but we do have guns. Unless the apes got the guns ... Anyway. Title: Re: Call me crazy . . .
