Hmmm...only saw one of these in the theater.  Oddly it wasn't Star Wars, it was Harry Potter.

01. $380,270,577 - Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
Excellent movie.  Far and away the best of the prequels, and only The Empire Strikes Back gives it any credible competition among the first three.

02. $291,710,957 - The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
Just a popcorn movie.  The Lion's "heroic" sacrifice wasn't very heroic, seeing as how he knew beforehand he'd just come back to life.

03. $290,013,036 - Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Let me link you to my old post describing exactly what I thought of this movie: http://www.badmovies.org/forum/index.php/topic,97748.0.html

04. $234,280,354 - War of the Worlds
Aliens?  Who cares about that crap?  What audiences want to see is a dysfunctional family arguing for about two hours!

05. $218,080,025 - King Kong
It's.  Too.  Damn.  Long.  Some parts of it were extremely good (like Kong remembering the word "beautiful"), but most of the movie was bad beyond even my lowest expectations.  Screw you, Peter Jackson, I'm never watching anything with your name on it again.

06. $209,255,921 - Wedding Crashers
???

07. $206,459,076 - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Sucked.  But allow me to point out Christopher Lee.  Even in a movie as dreadful as this, even with a part as small as he was given, even though he was 80 years old at the time, he gave it his all!

08. $205,343,774 - Batman Begins
Awful awful awful AWFUL AWFUL movie.  Quite possibly the worst big-budget movie I've ever seen.  Felt like someone dusted off their Batman fan-fic they wrote when they were twelve or thirteen to use for the script.

09. $193,595,521 - Madagascar
Never saw.

10. $186,336,279 - Mr. & Mrs. Smith
I've had this inflicted on me a few times.  I don't like it.

11. $179,495,555 - Hitch
???

12. $158,119,460 - The Longest Yard
???

13. $154,696,080 - Fantastic Four
Nobody working on it cared.  "Hey, guys, it's just a comic book movie, we don't have to try."  Even so, it was so lightweight that it wasn't worth getting worked up over.  (Or seeing in the first place.)

14. $135,386,665 - Chicken Little
Never saw.

15. $128,200,012 - Robots
Never saw.

16. $119,519,402 - Walk the Line
No way.

17. $113,086,868 - The Pacifier
You know what?  This is actually pretty harmless and even mildly amusing.

18. $110,332,737 - Fun with Dick and Jane
???

19. $109,449,237 - The 40-Year-Old Virgin
I couldn't ever decide if this had its heart in the right place or not.  At any rate, I didn't think it was funny and I didn't care about any of the people in it.

20. $089,707,299 - Flightplan
???

Kee-ripes!  What a bad movie year!

Hahaha, awful year.

Only saw about four or five of these, and only managed to get through the whole of Batman Begins.

I think I've seen about 4 of those as well.  Can't remember if I saw that Potter movie or not.  Probably watched a bit of it on TV, or maybe it was a different one lol.

01. $380,270,577 - Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith - easily the best of the Star Wars prequals
04. $234,280,354 - War of the Worlds - this absolutely sucked
08. $205,343,774 - Batman Begins - one of my favorites!
19. $109,449,237 - The 40-Year-Old Virgin - this was pretty funny, haven't seen it in a few years

40 year old virgin was good for one of those post whatever that ben stiller movie was with charlize theron gross out meets warmedy movies. Flightplan was okay.  Wedding Crashers I did not laugh. It was "well done" but not well done enough to elicit the thing called laughter from our most precious person.

2005 DOMESTIC GROSSES

#1–20

01. $380,270,577 - Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith - overall I was disappointed by it but it's still better than The Phantom Menace. Just doesn't fully work for me for some reason.
02. $291,710,957 - The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe - I liked it. Decent escapist fantasy fare but it does seem a little too by the numbers.
03. $290,013,036 - Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - haven't seen.
04. $234,280,354 - War of the Worlds- disappointing. Miles inferior to the original and reminds me more of the TV series from the late 80s.
05. $218,080,025 - King Kong- major disappointment. Way too overlong and way too many unnecessay subplots.
06. $209,255,921 - Wedding Crashers - haven't seen.
07. $206,459,076 - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory- I actually liked this. It's totally inferior next to Willy Wonka though but it was weird fun on its own.
08. $205,343,774 - Batman Begins - I was slightly disappointed with this honestly. Think the villains could have been developed more.
09. $193,595,521 - Madagascar - this was a lot of fun, silly but fun. Fun escape from reality but that's about all it is.
10. $186,336,279 - Mr. & Mrs. Smith - this totally sucked. And I usually like Pitt and Jolie.

11. $179,495,555 - Hitch - haven't seen.
12. $158,119,460 - The Longest Yard- haven't seen.
13. $154,696,080 - Fantastic Four- I liked it but felt kind of guilty for it afterwards but honestly it's likely no better than the unreleased 90s film.
14. $135,386,665 - Chicken Little- haven't seen.
15. $128,200,012 - Robots- haven't seen.
16. $119,519,402 - Walk the Line- haven't seen.
17. $113,086,868 - The Pacifier- haven't seen.
18. $110,332,737 - Fun with Dick and Jane- haven't seen.
19. $109,449,237 - The 40-Year-Old Virgin - found most of it a bit completely far fetched but it was funny.
20. $089,707,299 - Flightplan- haven't seen.

2005 DOMESTIC GROSSES

#1–20

01. $380,270,577 - Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith....Yup I saw it. I was underwhelmed.

02. $291,710,957 - The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe...Nope

03. $290,013,036 - Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire...Not a Potter fan.

04. $234,280,354 - War of the Worlds... I saw this in the theater and was pretty dissappointed, mostly in the storytelling. I watched Jaws on dvd afterwards and that confirmed it. Stevie just isn't the storyteller he once was.

05. $218,080,025 - King Kong...Too long. It was juiced up and crazy and had some decent moments but too damn long.

06. $209,255,921 - Wedding Crashers...It was ok but I saw it because I'm a sucker for Isla Fisher.

07. $206,459,076 - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory...Nope. TIm Burton has ruined enough "Re-imaginings".

08. $205,343,774 - Batman Begins...It was ok, but it just didn't do it for me. I'd rather watch that fan clip on Youtube where Batman fights a Predator)I think. Or an Alien)

09. $193,595,521 - Madagascar... Missed it

10. $186,336,279 - Mr. & Mrs. Smith... I don't get how women love this movie. But they do. I thought it was pretty boring.

11. $179,495,555 - Hitch...Nope

12. $158,119,460 - The Longest Yard...This was a sin against Creation.

13. $154,696,080 - Fantastic Four... I think the Internet has passed judgment enough on this specimen. In all honesty I think they got the Thing and ther Human Torch right, but the rest of the movie belonged in the toilet.

14. $135,386,665 - Chicken Little...Nope

15. $128,200,012 - Robots...No way no how.

16. $119,519,402 - Walk the Line... I liked it. But them again I'm a big Johnny Cash fan. And without it, we wouldn't have had Walk Hard.

17. $113,086,868 - The Pacifier. Hahahahaha...no

18. $110,332,737 - Fun with Dick and Jane...Nope

19. $109,449,237 - The 40-Year...Sophmoric yes, but I laughed.

20. $089,707,299 - Flightplan-...Nope

07. $206,459,076 - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
16. $119,519,402 - Walk the Line
19. $109,449,237 - The 40-Year-Old Virgin

The four best movies of 2005 honestly.

01. $380,270,577 - Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith - The best of the prequels, but that still isn't saying much.  Overall I just liked it, but it is still very flawed.
02. $291,710,957 - The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe - OK.  Kind of bland.
03. $290,013,036 - Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - Decent, entertaining.
04. $234,280,354 - War of the Worlds - OK, a good lead performance by Cruise, but the movie doesn't really go anywhere.
05. $218,080,025 - King Kong - I really enjoy this film - I'm one of the few who prefers it to the original (which I also love).
06. $209,255,921 - Wedding Crashers - Awful film.
07. $206,459,076 - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - Unseen.
08. $205,343,774 - Batman Begins - Alright film, but the storytelling feels very muddled at parts.  The Dark Knight is a vast improvement.
09. $193,595,521 - Madagascar - Mediocre.
10. $186,336,279 - Mr. & Mrs. Smith - Mediocre.

11. $179,495,555 - Hitch - Unseen.
12. $158,119,460 - The Longest Yard - Unseen.
13. $154,696,080 - Fantastic Four - Blaaaah.
14. $135,386,665 - Chicken Little - Bleh.
15. $128,200,012 - Robots - Blargh.
16. $119,519,402 - Walk the Line - Unseen.
17. $113,086,868 - The Pacifier - Better than I expected, but still just watchable.
18. $110,332,737 - Fun with Dick and Jane - Unseen.
19. $109,449,237 - The 40-Year-Old Virgin - Unseen
20. $089,707,299 - Flightplan - Unseen

Saw Batman Begins FIVE time when it came out.
I also went to special midnight screening of it.
Yep, I'm a bat-nerd.

Yet I'm strangely so-so on The Dark Knight...

War of The Worlds was fair but could've done without the annoyiong kids or Tom Cuise.
In fact, jutst give me two hours of aliens destroying stuff.

Chicken Little I saw for free as a College study. It was fair for kids.

King Kong was great, some CGI misfires, but it remided me of the films I saw on telly as a child.
