From July 22-24, the Fight Night Film Fest will be in Louisville, KY with John Carpenter as the guest of honor. Others include Henry Winkler (I think he's supposed to be at the Georgetown Drive-In in Indiana with other guests), a bunch of the cast from Revenge of the Nerds, Margot Kidder (Superman), Jim Kelly (Enter the Dragon), A. Michael Baldwin (Phantasm), a few folks from Dark Night of the Scarecrow, Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett!), Billy Zabka and Martin Kove (Johnny and the Kobra Kai sensei from The Karate Kid), and lots of other random folks. I'd really like to meet Carpenter, and I've got a snazzy poster of The Thing I'd try to get him to sign. |
