However, what was also on that box was a few furry sites - which might be the only reason I know what a "furry" means in this context.

Sure, they were still using animal people, but they have gotten better with some exceptions. Now they make ads that parody other ads, claiming that Orangina is mouthwash, a drink to go with your cereal, perfume, shampoo, and such.
