It said that the adults suffered serious fractures from hitting the bottom head first but there was evidence that the children were cushioned by the bodies of the adults. I guess it's possible that they were still alive for a while. Terrifying...hopefully they were already dead before going in.

I read some study once that correlated the rise in sugar prices with the number of lynchings in the deep south or something. People are horrible.
