Sherwood Schwartz, creator of TV classics like Gilligan's Island and The Brady Bunch passed away surrounded by his family.

Gilligan's Island is one of my all-time favorite shows. RIP, Mr. Schwartz.  :bluesad:

I hate to say it, but I thought he was already dead.

But yeah, the guy created some of the most beloved shows of my childhood. A great influence on television and pop culture in general.

Indeed, and heads up to Flick for his comments too. Sure, The Brady Bunch may have solved family problems in a half hour, unlike real life, but the show was pure fun, save for the time it got serious when Bobby and Cindy got lost in the Grand Canyon... :teddyr:

However, unlike a lot of the shows of that day, The Brady Bunch also found a way to deliver good life lessons a way kids could understand, while finding the humor in it those lessons.

Mr. Schwarzt, thanks for some truly great TV, and may you Rest In Peace.  Thanks for the memories  :smile:
