It's at the end of the article. I stand by what I said when I first heard about this movie coming. I'll see it so I can a serious actor say the line: Damn, they/you sunk my battleship. With Liam Neeson in it, it could be possible! Battleship is just calling out coordinates and sinking little ships.
But that's perfect. It's games that have well-developed stories that make crappy movies, like FPS video games. Battleship, you can do just about anything you want, as long as there's something reminiscent of the game in it. Nobody goes into the theatre with any other expectations. Title: Re: Battleship Movie Trailer Post by: FatFreddysCat on August 05, 2011, 08:32:23 AM One of my friends posted the "Battleship" trailer on his Facebook page a couple of days ago and said "Wow, this looks pretty good!" -- after I watched it, I replied "You can't possibly be serious."
A guy in my office sez they showed the trailer when he saw "Cowboys & Aliens" over the weekend and the audience laughed it off the screen. Doesn't bode well for the movie, I'd say. |
