Secondly you should be aware that this site is a worldwide family of bad movie lovers ~ I am from South Africa as an example ~ and that we are more or less just that here: sometimes a slightly dysfunctional family but family is family, not so?  :wink:

Thirdly, because of the second part, we take pride in this site that there are very few or no spammers that intrude and flame wars that take place on here: this is not Rant Central here, nor is it the IMDB's Soapbox thankfully.

What is all this about? Simply put: I like people to like each other and you are very welcome to be a part of this family but there is a place to rant and that place isn't here.

Right Trevor, 1st off, he started it, send your heat in the correct direction. In both threads, He was the instigator.

2nd, so he's your friend, great, doesn't give him a righ to break the rules with personal attacks.

3rd, his portrayal of women as toys for his enjoyment is disgusting. his fascination with boobs should be presented elsewhere, not at a movie site. Perhaps he's fascinated with em cause he has only his manboobs on hand to play with.

Anyone who would post his own "show your love for me" thread has got some self love issues. Why not have a blowup doll of yourself made Mynard so you can deepen this love affair you're having with yourself?

My thread posited a social question, & contained a legit study. In no way shape or form would any academic person consider it a denigration of women. Your characterization is obscene, hateful & as well innacurrate.

You're going to have to point out to me the post where cowofzot used the words "whore" and "n****r."  I searched through his posts and didn't find them. 

His post about men and women was not something I agreed with.  He also seemed to resist calm and measured responses.  My gut feeling is that something involving a relationship has made him very negative about women.  However, I fail to understand why that disagreement has to turn into outright attacks in other threads.  Menard, you were doing quite well in ignoring possible flamebait, but then a day later we end up with this post from yourself.  It has no purpose beyond starting an argument, and appears to invent new facts to justify itself.

What should have happened in the "men are more giving than women" thread is well-reasoned responses that countered the subject.  We did get some of that, but then it headed straight into the standard mess that happens on countless forums.
