Title: ZK.com review of The Walking Dead Seaon One
Post by: Mike From BBandBCs on August 25, 2011, 09:56:49 PM
"The Walking Dead, simply put, was 2010s best TV series (at least for fans of horror). To say otherwise is just silly. Created by Frank Darabont and deriving from his popular graphic novel, this series does more than just tell the story of zombies walking the earth. It weaves several life-stories together in a way that has the viewer wanting more. Did Shane lie to Rick's wife about his death in order to sleep with her? Will Merle (genre favorite, Michael Rooker) find his way back into season two after cutting off his hand to escape the zombies? And what about Rick's wife, is she expecting a baby, and if so, who is the father, Rick or Shane? All these answers and more should be revealed in the soon to air second season of The Walking Dead."

I just put that at the top of my Netflix queue.  Sounds interesting.  I've been watching a lot of zombie stuff lately.

Hey, Jack, thanks for reading. The Walking Dead is simply superb. You won't regret your time with it that's for sure.

Out of curiosity, other than True Blood, what other horror shows are being made?  I can't think of any...  Which is kind of strange, considering Walking Dead was a ratings smash and so is True Blood.

As far as Walking Dead, I enjoyed the TV show, but thought after the first couple episodes it went too slow...  I feel like the first season could have been condensed down into 3 or 4 episodes instead of six, essentially.  Still looking forward to season 2 though.
