Title: Anger venting thread
Post by: Olivia Bauer on September 13, 2011, 11:50:56 AM
It's not "Grind my gears" or any kind of pet peeve thread. You're angry about something, I don't care; you have a headache, your car broke down, you stubbed your toe on something and you don't want to walk, I don't care!

Whatever is p**sing you off right now, talk about it! Let loose! Show me your rage!

I understand you're using sarcasm but I guess I should define the difference anyway.

Grind my gears: Pet peeves that happen a lot that bug the hell out of you

This thread: Something bad just happened. COMPLAIN ABOUT IT!

agree... why do they leave the cameras on after everyone stops caring? now they are just filming the aftermath of a trainwreck.

<sarcasm>Good job TLC</sarcasm>

AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!

I bought a KILLER frame of arrowheads Sunday on EBay, easily a couple grand worth (if they were real, which they seemed to be), fo rmuch less than their actual worth.  Got home this evening and found that my full purchase price had been refunded, with a note that the lady's son had sold the collection at a flea market, not realizing she had it listed on EBay.  I'm glad I got my money back at least, but MAN!!! I wanted those artifacts!

What the f*ck do people feel a need to spell check facebook statuses?  I just went off on someone who did it to me.

I had a similar incident about a year ago.  I use the old NPH and Regular still.  Had gone out to do some errands that ran long and wanted to check the NPH I just purchased.  Pulled it out was fine before slipping and landing on concrete.  Not expensive but still never fun experience.  Has happened to everyone, at least once.

I almost totally agree. For the most part, it doesn't matter to me.

What is REALLY ticking me off today (and most days) is how Messenger always cr.aps out at random times.  Then I have to disconnect the net and reconnect, sometimes mutltiple times in a row to get Messenger back online.

Never try to drive someplace on a weekend.  Some fat guy on a Harley pulls out in front of me on the highway and, eventually, manages to accelerate to 45 mph - and never any faster.  Then I've got two old grannies driving on the exit lane - at about two freakin' miles per hour.  Then some idiot's trying to make a left turn going out of the convenience store parking lot, which has cars backed up all the way to the entrance.  There's about 50 cars out in the lot but about 3 people actually in the store.  WTF?

I hate rule 34 so much. I was looking for good fan art of a comic I like and found an unbelievable amount of porn.

Damn the internet!  :hatred:

What the hell is up with Microsoft?  Every damned time I try to use my computer it's downloading and installing some gazillion megabyte update for Windows.  The thing's running at 1/100th normal speed - and that's NOT an exaggeration, takes 20 seconds for the cursor to even move sometimes - and it sucks up all my internet bandwidth of course.  All because some pathetic little pricks living in their mommy's basements get their jollies writing viruses.  "Oh, I can't annoy people in real life, because even a 120 lb. girl could squash me like a bug, but on the internet I can be an absolute a$$ hole.  It makes me feel SOOOOOO good about myself!!!"

Good freakin' grief

Today I had an important business meeting scheduled for 2 p.m. in downtown Milwaukee. This is a long way from my house which doubled as my office. I get there THERE IS NO ONE THERE. I waited until 2:30 and left, but not before squeezing a busienss card of mine through the closed door.

:hatred: :hatred: :hatred: :hatred: :hatred: :hatred: :hatred: :hatred: :hatred: :hatred: :hatred:

WHY SCHEDULE MEETINGS IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO BE THERE FOR THEM?

I hate when you put up signs asking people not to do something, and they still do it.

That's when you try reverse psychology.

I bet you can't go the entire day without doing ________!

I hate that some people get defensive if I say that I'm an atheist.  Bear in mind, I don't jump down their throats and beat the living tar out of what they believe--I just say I don't believe in anything and they fly off the handle.

I have religious beliefs but it doesn't bother me in the slightest that you are an atheist: I'm not just saying that because you are a friend but that's how I am towards people and their beliefs in general.

Friends, along with a good percent of 90s "comedy" shows, was not funny nor entertaining. Matter of fact, if there was one show I would have loved to see the entire cast of characters torched alive it was probably this show.

Thanks, Trevor!

I'm not bothered by religious folk at all and I feel I get along great with most everyone I know.  There's always that one or two that likes to get under my skin and they'll find any way to do it.

That reminds me of what certain people told me at college when I said that I liked reading Fangoria, watching scary and terrible movies, reading sci-fi novels and listening to groups like The Moody Blues. Their reaction was: "Oooooooo! You're going to go to hell!"  :buggedout: :buggedout: :tongueout:

My older sister is temping at the convenience store I work at til January. This older man came in with a Camel Snus coupon and wanted to use it to get money off on some Pall Malls. Well, naturally she told him she couldn't do that,it wasn't even the same product. He became verbally abusive, saying that "the other girl" took it all the time. That "other girl" was either my twin or me and he'd never tried to pull that on us. Then the next day he came in and threw a big fit about it to our boss, saying she'd been the one who'd yelled and cursed....another lie. My twin happened to be there and she went ballistic, telling him he was a big liar. The boss diffused the situation as usual....by backing the customer and telling her we had to take them. I swear,if a customer came in and looked our boss in the eye to tell him we'd cut his head off the loser would believe him. :hatred: :hatred: :hatred:
