SOLARIS (1972) (http://366weirdmovies.com/95-solaris-solyaris-1972): Certified Weird!  "To watch a Tarkovsky movie is to be slowly absorbed into the director’s ponderous dreams, until his subconscious almost imperceptibly becomes your waking reality."

THE GUATEMALAN HANDSHAKE (2006) (http://366weirdmovies.com/list-candidate-the-guatemalan-handshake-2006): "Although a Guatemalan Handshake sounds like something you’d have to pay extra for at a massage parlor, it’s actually a strange little indie movie that takes the concept of 'quirky and stretches it way past the breaking point."

PAT TREMBLAY'S TOP 10 WEIRD MOVIES LIST (http://366weirdmovies.com/pat-tremblays-top-10-weird-movies): "Although it’s a TV series and not a film, I really dig “Xavier Renegade Angel”, completely mental material that’s extremely funny.  Trippy, surreal, 2-cent philosophy striking down your brain with a hammer of  retarded genius."-PT

MEGA PYTHON VS. GATOROID (2011) (http://366weirdmovies.com/capsule-mega-python-vs-gatoroid-2011): With the assistance of guest reviewer Cleverbot!  "366:...the first one you see astounds you with its crazy uniqueness, but the concept wears thin quickly and gets less and less 'awesome' with each new entry you watch.  Cleverbot: Let’s talk about something else."

BEDWAYS (2010) (http://366weirdmovies.com/capsule-bedways-2010): "Sure, there’s plenty of rutting in dingy Berlin locations—one brief bout of penetration and a much longer explicit female masturbation scene amidst tons of softcore posturing—but, this being an art film that feels the need to justify its prurient interests, the hot action is frequently interrupted by characters wondering about God’s existence, quoting Foucalt, and watching an industrial dance band with a lead singer who strikes bizarre poses that may make you spontaneously cry out, 'Now is the time on ‘Sprockets’ when we dance!'"

DOCUMENTARY DOUBLE FEATURE: NIGHTMARES IN RED, WHITE AND BLUE (2009)/AMERICAN GRINDHOUSE (2010) (http://366weirdmovies.com/documentary-double-feature-nightmares-in-red-white-and-blue-2009american-grindhouse-2010): "Nightmares displays clear elements of fanservice (often beautifully arranged, as when the entire Friday the 13th series is cleverly compressed into a 90 second montage of beer, boobs and bloody punishment)."

LE QUATTRO VOLTE (2010) (http://366weirdmovies.com/capsule-le-quattro-volte-2010): "If someone accidentally wandered into a theater playing Le Quattro Volte and observed the the sequence of events—there’s no plot, per se—without any preparation or background information, they’d be completely confounded by this mystical, dialogue-free film."

IN DEFENSE OF PRETENSE: THE JOYS OF PRETENTIOUS MOVIES (http://366weirdmovies.com/in-defense-of-pretense): "...out here in the darkened audience, we’re starving for big, wiggy ideas, fearlessly grandiose visions, and filmmakers who aren’t afraid to put their balls to the wall with no fear of looking foolish.  The world needs more pretentious movies, not less."

THE SEVENTH SEAL (1957) (http://366weirdmovies.com/list-candidate-the-seventh-seal-1957): "The Seventh Seal has a big, imposing reputation as a masterpiece of world cinema, but if you haven’t seen it yet, you may be surprised to find that most of what you think you know about it is wrong."

CARMEL (2009) (http://Carmel is a confusing movie, and its lack of urgency about telling a story combined with disinterest in avoiding dull patches doesn’t serve it well.): "...a confusing movie, and its lack of urgency about telling a story combined with disinterest in avoiding dull patches doesn’t serve it well."

THE MANSTER (1959) (http://366weirdmovies.com/capsule-the-manster-1959): "Dyneley takes to the lifestyle of a gin-soaked heel like a 1950s mad scientist takes to collecting Tesla coils."

PRIMER (2004) (http://366weirdmovies.com/list-candidate-primer-2004): "...although the dense, complicated, and deliberately obtuse plot produces a level of confusion comparable in effect to the weirdest David Lynch movies, I’ve got the sinking feeling that, if you dissect  it carefully, there’s a perfectly logical explanation for everything that happens.  (That complaint makes the 366 project the only outlet in the world to potentially reject Primer because it makes too much sense)."
