Title: Abduction (2011)
Post by: InformationGeek on September 27, 2011, 07:39:37 PM
Hey!  What do you know!  It's everyone's third favorite punching bag (1st being Robert Pattinson and 2nd being Shia Labeouf), Taylor Lautner!  He's staring in a brand new movie unrelated to the Twilight franchise.  That's great, a good chance to get away from all that crap surrounding those movies and spread his wings to show us that he's... I kid!  The movie's been suckin' bad recently.  Not Bucky Larson levels mind you, but still pretty bad.  3% on Rotten Tomatoes, making it I think the second worst movie to come out according to the rating system.

Ouch.  Even Robert Pattinson's movie (Water for Elephants) that came out this year was better (though W.f.E. was alright).  Here's the premise for all of you: The film is about a teenager who finds out that his parents are not really his when he sees his baby picture on a missing persons website.  As soon as he finds out, ninja/assassins show up to kill/kidnap/something or other to him and he has to go on the run, dragging some girl along for the ride.  Meh.

If you've seen it, anyone care to check this thing?  It's too much of a meh for me to bother seeing this anytime soon.

I saw the trailer and I thought it looked pretty cool, but I'm a sucker for these kinds of movies.  I'm also drooling over the new MI4 Ghost Protocol trailer.  If I see it, I'll write about it.

So...  it's been out for a while now on DVD and brought back this topic to see if anyone has seen this yet.  Me?  Nope, but my parents did.  Apparently it is a very good film.  ... no comment.
