We quickly Googled it up and found the breaking news stories only 11 minutes after they had been posted. We were very surprised, as even though he had stepped down from his role as CEO, we thought there would have been more warning than that.
We told someone else in the office: "Steve Jobs had just died!" All we got was a blank look and a 'huh? who?' It was only after we said, 'Apple. CEO. Guy who gave us the iPhone,' that she suddenly knew who we were talking about. And this process was repeated throughout the company! And these people own iPhones! Steve Jobs' creations and concepts have shaped our world in ways that few will ever comprehend. i would have loved to have seen how he would have shaped the world had he lived on. |
