Isn't that known as the most violent film of all time?

That's why I said it's a wonderful family film. :) The only nice thing about it is the theme music.

Gotta say I agree. It reminds me of this:

And a bit of Apocalypse Now thrown in, from a psychological standpoint.

It sucks when you can't remember one cannibal film from another.  I think I've seen this one.

It's one of those movies that really seperate high and low art fans. I think it kicks ass, but you could easily take it apart for the various faults or the politically incorrect stuff.

To review a movie like CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST, I think it is important to concentrate on its whimsical elements, feel-good moments, and wacky characters.

I wish I could have written the voiceover narration for the theatrical trailer:

"Hilarity abounds as a wacky group of ne'er-do-wells come face-to-face with cannibals in . . . CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST!  You'll laugh until you cry when you see the zany antics of these bumbling knuckleheads as they travel to the heart of a jungle paradise . . . "

All of a sudden, I feel a lot better about that film.  :teddyr:
