Know he made many appearances in TV shows including The Rockford Files, Dallas, The A-Team, Mission: Impossible and Knight Rider and he did some cartoon voice work for Superman and Men in Black. He kind of got typecast as the hard as nails army general or commander but was nevertheless usually quite good in whatever role he played.
