Title: Animated Fantasy Movie... Post by: Corvid on October 20, 2011, 10:22:45 PM Okay, I have very vivid memories of this movie... I remember checking it out of the library when I was seven or eight... I could have sworn it was called "The Dragon's hoard" but I've looked that up, and it comes up with nothing...
The movie, if I remember correctly, was animated in the same style of the Last Unicorn, or a style similar. Okay, so the plot opens with the main character pitching his board game to an antique's dealer or something... the antique dealer mentions the guy had been writing a book about those same characters. The main character says he gave up on that. Okay, then there is this scene of this old wizard guy and his beautiful daughter, who exist in the world the main character created. The wizard is one of four element wizards or something, perhaps gods. ANyway, the main character gets transported into this world he created... and he meets the wizard and his daughter. The wizard and him have a conversation in this place that is a library of all books past and future, and the main character sees his book there, but the wizard won't let him read it. Then the main character agrees to help the old wizard and his daughter with some sort of quest... And he accidnelty gets turned into a dragon. I forgot exactly how this ties into the plot, but there is this wolf/dog creature who is one of the old wizard's friends, who apparently drowned a long time ago. He shows up, and explains he was brought back to life by one of the other four powerful wizards, this black guy who was the water wizard or something. And at one point they meet the girl version of Robin Hood, and she joins them as well. And at the very end, the main character is back in his own world, at the antique shop, and he's selling off this artifact he got in the other world, and the antique dealer says "Where did you get thisd?" "Well, I was a dragon, and this was part of my hoard." And then the love interest from the other world walks in the door with some sort of ruby crown... I can't remember the villian or anything. But I really would like to find this movie again, I'm sure it existed, because I have such vivid memories of it... Title: Re: Animated Fantasy Movie...
