Couldn't exactly describe the topic very well but basically what I'm asking is, what are your favorite stuff to watch for/comments/things I learned from watching this movie/etc. that either Andrew or other readers have put in their reviews? Like: AN EYE FOR AN EYE by Trevor Stuff to watch for: 92 minutes: Huh? Quote 33 mins - Stock elephant footage... (Around now I checked my cable box to ensure that "The Discovery Channel" was not bleeding over or something.) 38 mins - Oh joy, stock freaking elephant footage... 61 mins - Arrrggghhh! Stock elephant footage... 65 mins - Elephants, the stuff nightmares are made of... Pretty much the tagline for Rainbow Brite review: Quote Ask me again how I did not go insane watching this movie. Also this line from The Garbage Pail Kids review by Ethan: Quote There's even a scene where the kids break into a supply store and steal cloth and fabric for their mutant sweatshop operations. And all the while they sing one of the creepiest tunes I've ever heard. While doing their nasty little deed, they swoon, "We can do anything by working together...la la la la la..." I reach for the heroin. The needle is sharp, but the sting is slowly replaced by sheer bliss... Did he just say "Ugga"? :teddyr: :teddyr: :teddyr: Professor Toru Tanaka does say that before Chuck Norris clouts him in the face. :teddyr: Pretty much all the remarks in Russell's review of the horror that is Midnight make me laugh but this is one of the best: Quote In conclusion, why did I hate this film? Well, it's pretty damn boring. And save for Nancy, Tom and Hank and one sacrificial victim, either nobody acts worth a s**t or they have the most banal dialogue. Also, this cult is stupid. Satan should want nothing to do with these lame-os. And that fat brother did nothing but giggle throughout the movie. If it was intended to scare me, all it did was make me hate the film even more. I'd call this film spare toilet paper, but that would be an insult to my @$$. Please, if you have any sense of self-respect, avoid this crappy film, the go egg Leonard Maltin's house. :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle: |
