A man working for the carnival comes in to hang some posters advertising the road show. Upon doing so he meets Jade Cochran (Brennen), the diner’s waitress. The two talk and swap contact information and shortly afterwards Jade walks out of her waitress job to take a job at the carnival.
Time passes and Jade meets Pat (Courtney), the carnival's sideshow stripper. The two decide to share a room at the local hotel to save on expenses. One night Jade asks Pat who the most available man (the richest man) working at the carnival is. We find that it’s the sideshow owner Steve St. John (McKinney). Jade is quickly introduced to Steve and the two hit it off and get married before you can count to three. However, Jade has taken a liking to the Ferris Wheel operator, Blackie (Raymond) and in her spare time sneaks off to his trailer for a little ride of her own. Next thing you know, Blackie and Steve go head to head and Blackie stabs Steve, killing him. After the funeral, Jade takes ownership of the sideshow and things go downhill from there as she is only interested in the cold hard cash that lines her pocket.
