The movie starts with a politcal extremist crashing a jet into a building in New York. The World Trade Center Towers play a prominent role. It certainly gave me pause. It's really weird, now that I watch pretty much any film or t.v. show set in New York I notice that the towers are shown. The cinematographers always made sure to catch them in shots of the city.

What I was wondering (and still am) is, would the Americans really have cared if Con Air was shown in the Netherlands?
