Good review.

I often wonder if what's missing from modern movies is "understatement."    Well that, and simple story telling (without hype).

Thanks, and yeah - understatement is not in Schumacher's vocabulary, methinks.   :tongueout:

The movie was fair....I liked Kilmer as Bruce Wayne but not as Batman. The cast was also fair but it could have been better. I was actually one of the few people I knew who liked Chris O'Donnell as d**k Grayson. And,although I never really cared for Jim Carrey,I liked him as The Riddler. Though Frank Gorshin was the best.

I hated Jim Carrey's portrayal of The Riddler.

Now, Wally Wingert from Batman: Arkham City, THAT's a Riddler you could set your watch to.
