Title: My free evening of nerd stuff- Featuring Mothra. Post by: Ed, Ego and Superego on January 27, 2012, 01:44:18 PM Last night Anna was out and I had a chance to clear soomeof the back catalog on the DVR.
1) 2 Ghost in The Shell episodes- I'm a latecomer to this series. Good stuff, and a LOT less abstract than the full length anime. The full length films had a few avant garde interludes that were rather WTF for me. 2) 3 Batman Beyond episodes- One of the best animated features of the late 90's. 3) Rebirth of Mothra I- Good solid Kaiju action, but the story was pretty kiddie movie-ish (it might even be a kid's film, I have not researched them yet). Very high "Kenny Factor" and the kid's voice dubbing was painful. I still have II and III to at least speed-watch.
