Title: Favorite Ramones Song(s) Post by: ulthar on March 01, 2012, 02:17:53 PM If you are not a Ramones fan, just skip this thread. If you are, post your favorites.
A couple of my favorites: I Wanna Be Sedated and Teenage Lobotomy. But, in this video, the audience looks to be sedated: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJ7MH7oecK0 Title: Re: Favorite Ramones Song(s) Post by: FatFreddysCat on March 01, 2012, 03:29:14 PM LOVE me some Ramones!! Pretty much everything on the first four records plus 1984's "Too Tough To Die" are all gold in my book, but if I had to pick absolute faves, I'd say...
"Teenage Lobotomy" "Do You Remember Rock N Roll Radio?" "Planet Earth 1988" "Carbona Not Glue" "Pinhead" "Smash You" Title: Re: Favorite Ramones Song(s) Post by: RCMerchant on March 01, 2012, 05:36:10 PM My FAVORITE band of all time! ALL TIME. :hot:

Faves: Blitzkrieg Bop (great for Rock Band) Beat On The Brat Sheena Is A Punk Rocker Rockaway Beach Title: Re: Favorite Ramones Song(s) Post by: HappyGilmore on March 01, 2012, 09:01:11 PM "I'm Against It" pretty much sums up my attitude in life.

Title: Re: Favorite Ramones Song(s) Post by: zombie no.one on March 03, 2012, 06:34:22 PM I really like Poison Heart - an overlooked gem. same here. remember hearing this on the radio a few times when it came out and thinking it doesn't sound much like The Ramones. (although I only know about 10 songs by the ramones however) mark & lard's Story Of The Ramones http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=va6Rwm0-yd8 - spoof item from their radio show, quite funny imo Title: Re: Favorite Ramones Song(s) Post by: ChaosTheory on March 04, 2012, 05:17:45 PM I really like Poison Heart - an overlooked gem. Looking forward to reading them both.
Title: Re: Favorite Ramones Song(s) Post by: the ghoul on March 04, 2012, 11:16:22 PM There are so many great Ramones songs I can't even begin to make a list of favorites.
I will say that Rocket To Russia is probably my favorite Ramones album. I pretty much grew up listening to The Ramones, and that was the first album by them that I owned. |
