Damn, the intro is funny.. for starters, it's a 1982 show and they say "IN COLOR!".  :bouncegiggle:
Also, the guest star always gets killed in the opener, and the narrator gives a different episode title than what is shown onscreen.  :teddyr:

Battlestar Galactica had a good intro thanks to a rousing score, and great FX by John Dykstra. Also, the opening narration with planets and nebulas is quite beautiful.

I loved this show as a kid (and today, thru YouTube clips).. the only game show I know of where the whole intro is animated.

UFO was pretty dang cool IMHO.

I really liked this opening for MNF most.  The helmets smashing into each other to the familiar theme.  I like it a lot better than some Country Western star ripping off their own song and adding football lyrics.

Ozzymandias speaks: The MNF music was also used by a syndication company called SFM for their monthly movie specials in the 70s and 80s call the SFM Holiday Network.

I can stand Hank Jr. (Redneck guys that beat me up in junior high and high school listened to him) but at least that song inspired a great MST3k gag.

I  don't  know if it was  posted, but, the 3rd Season Intro  to Lost In Space. I met  many times and became  pen pals with Jonathan Harris in the  late 80's up till his death in 2004. It always  struck me as an optomistic  opening and it was at the height of the space  race in the USA. One of my all time favorites.  :smile:
