Title: 80's shows
Post by: D on April 26, 2002, 10:14:08 AM
Does anyone out there remember a show about  a Sherlock Holmes clone puppet? I think this kid finds the thing in his attic, and they solve crimes together (well, I recall the kid did all the leg work anyway). Also, wasn't there a show on Fox in the late 80-early 90's about a group of people who live through a A-nomb blast, and they all have to live on a farm and there was a badly done FX shot when the giant spider attacks toy trucks.
Ring any bells?

I remember a little about the kid show was it called  Sherlock Holmes Jr?.  But I remember the FOX show it was called WOOPS! it was a good short lived show on Sunday nights. I remember one episode when the Alice who's a feminist something happen to her and transform her into a sexbomb hottie with Daisy Dukes. That the one I fully remember WOW she was hot.

Anyone else remember the late 80's/early 90's show "Hi Honey I'm Home"?  It was a show about this 50's kinda family living in modern times, and they and there house were all in black and white while everyone else was in color?  I still kinda remember the theme song.  I kinda liked that one but I was only 10 or 11 when it was on.  It was pretty short-lived and no one I've ever talked to seems to remember it.  Anybody here ever heard of it?

As a matter of fact, I do. The tv family's house was in color, but they needed a remote (the Turnerizer) to make it B & W.  I remember the family next door (a 'modren' group-slacker son, single mom, JD younger son) and that the slacker wound up dating the teenybooper daughter. The family was sent there when their show was cancelled (it was mentioned that that was the fate of all canned shows, to be reloacted to a opposite enviroment, makes you wonder what happend to the other shows, doesn't it?) and yes, I watch WAY too much tv

I remember watching Hi Honey, I'm Home too. Dumb show, but I kind of liked it. Now, Aliens In The family was a different matter. Hot daughter, horrible show...
