Title: Donald "Duck" Dunn dies at 70 years Post by: Sleepyskull on May 14, 2012, 08:53:58 AM I woke up humming Born Under a Bad Sign and saw that the bass player died. After a concert in Tokyo, he died in his sleep. He played with Albert King, Booker T and the MGs and performed with many others. I don't know a lot about his individual playing in particular, but it makes me sad anyway. Sleep well.

The shaggy hair and beard, shirt tail hanging out, pipe sticking out the side of his mouth, playing the bass. The guy had style, plus he had a cool name and he was a damn good bass player.
