I really want to read the story, just because this has raised some questions, but I absolutely do not want to see the pictures. Anyone care to repost the text?

AndyC, you can read the article. The actual pictures require a couple click-throughs. I looked at them, because I'm a highway gawker, but you can't really identify anything.

I question the veracity of any article like this. Not to say it isn't true, but it is the internet.

My question is, who are these people who sign up for something like this? I remember seeing a placenta-eating party on one of those HBO "Real Sex" specials. Sure, you can do something like that, but why? The desire to eat human flesh is like playing with your own feces, a universal taboo. If you're tempted to do something like that, let along pay for the privilege, something has gone terribly wrong with your personal psychology. The castrate is clearly out of his mind, but those who choose to participate in his mutilation? Other people are right to be worried about them.

It's OK, they are Japanese!  Actually a very nice culture, I lived among them for a little over three years, but there is just something a bit . . . bent in their psyche.
