Title: The Boneyard

Polarising status: Current IMDb rating 5.2 although I'm certain I've  seen this rated 4.9 the previous time and... most critical reviews have apparently since vanished

Description: Basically there's a mystery about dead kids. It turns out they are actually zombie/ghoul critters, although somewhat different from your average zombies.

There are only three zomghouls (lacking any better term), and although it's suggested they transform people like the usual zombies, this never happens onscreen, or in the current events at all.

However, those who consume zomghoul flesh transform into zombies... very, large, powerful zombies, like post-part six Jason Voorhes powerful, whose physical blows can be lethal - seriously, zombies that one-hit-kill people, very atypical.

Of course, because it's on the American DVD cover, the monster zombie poodle needs mentioning - I consider it straddling the line between silliness and seriousness - apparently so do the characters, one even bursts out laughing on seeing it, understandable because, after everything they've been through, that being the last obstacle between them is too much!

Notes: The leads are an old police officer and a lady whose weight is somewhat above average, very atypical, like the film itself
