Possible spoiler alert for anyone who hasn't seen Inglorius Basterds.

Its fascinating, but the idea that the end of IB would somehow result in a culture that's more inclined to violence is reaching way too far. Also, I never really thought that it even needed to change the course of history at all (my own personal take is that the nazis, not wanting it known that the furher had died, used an impersonator from there on, with the rest of the higher-ups making decisions in his place, and history more or less on the same course afterward).
